Foods to be avoided in summers
As summers have arrived, we have to change our some of the habits with the changing season; we also have to change our eating habits. Today we will discuss about some of the foods you should avoid in summer season.
Say no to spices: most of us, including me, love food with excessive spices, but avoid them this summer, at least for two to three months of summer. These spices like pepper, chili, cumin, ginger etc increase the body temperature of our body by heating them. They have a thermogenic effect and it increases the body metabolism.
Avoid eating non-veg food: Non-veg foods are famous in winters, because non-veg foods like meat, egg, and squid etc. provides excessive heat to the body, but avoid this food in summer season. They can also end up upsetting your stomach and causing diseases like diarrhea etc.
Avoid eating excessive mangoes: yes I know we like eating excessive mangoes in summers, they attract each one of us. But we should have control on them because they are body warming food and they increases the temperature of body and causes many skin diseases, pimples especially in teenagers and youngsters.
Cut down your consumption of milk products like hot milk, cheese, butter. They also increase the body temperature. You can go for some of the milk products like butter milk, curd they are good for summers. You can also enjoy cold milk like cold coffee etc but that too in controlled quantity.
So this summer avoid food which provides heat to the body and consume cool and light food. You can enjoy some fruits like water million, tomatoes etc to enjoy this summer.
